Urban Studies collections
Overview
The strategic thinking that led to the incorporation of the University of Winnipeg pointed to its unique situation in the city's urban core as one of its key strengths. That situation has guided development of the University's curriculum and campus for over fifty years, with its early slogan: "the city is our campus."
The Archives preserves several collections that support research about the urban environment and its people. Many of our University records are also relevant to this topic.
